Who are we to question the providence of God?
Mat. 6:33 All things work togeather for good to them that believe and are called according to His purpose.
To every thing there is a season and purpose under heavan, hold on to what you have for the time is short.
The Lord has stated I would have you prosper as your soul prospers.
There is no need to look for fault in what you are doing, Today we are living in a nation once established on the fundimental principals of the supreme law giver, now turned away.
Just do the best you can, that's all anyone can do. What others think is not importiant, only our individual relationship with the Lord Jesus and son of God.

Rev. Brian Wechsler,

I haven't fully read your blog, but will later today. Thank you for the transparity shown in the begining portions of the blog 7/31/08 "Village Missions’ Gut Check".

The reason for my writing is that I have been on www.ministrywatch.org and was looking at the information presented there about Village Missions. It is exciting that VM is ranked 3rd out of 34th in the Evangelism catagory, and I am confident that is due to the adminitration's effort of being careful with the funds provided to the organization. I did notice that the financials of VM are only updated on that website up through 2004. If I were looking to donate, I would certainly want to see more updated information, and if I believed in the organization and saw it dipping in its revenue, I would be more inclined to increase my giving if I were able. I say this because I have looked around at organizations I had no idea of how they handle money and it is alarming to see their lack of transparency...TD Jakes, TBN, etc. On the other hand, I see financial numbers of organizations like Harvest Crusades and "The Christian Network, Inc./ CNI/ WORSHIP Network/ PRAISE TV Network". I am continuing to pray for God to meet and exceed the needs of VM and the work it does. God bless you for the effort poured out in figuring God's leading in these tough financial times. I am reminded of what I heard this year from Bill Wayland's daughter Carrie Cunningham, who was our AWANA counsel time leader this year, sharing with the kids (and I) words from Hudson Taylor..."Depend upon it; God's work, done in God's way, will never lack God's supplies.".

Brian,

Thanks so much for your passion for the local church especially in the USA! Your organization is inspirational to many of us looking for someone to rebuild, regenerate and revive the church in America. Let's seek God rather than the "solutions" of men.

By the way, BCM has decided to pull out of ANAM at the end of the year. We are more global focused than USA according to our President. I pray that BCM will do both. Your group's participation in ANAM is more vital than ever.
I have resigned from the General Council in light of BCM's departure. I really value your friendship which came about through ANAM. Keep at it!
