P.S. Not only was I praying for your team, but a network of intercessors around the world were praying.

I am in awe at the answers to prayer, but more, I am in awe because the Lord has brought his people in Haiti to worship and praise him and many are being saved. Praise the Lord. Praise HIM for protecting your team. My heart is in the rural areas.

Hello Beth,
According to Saundra McGraw, the team was in the church standing by one of the pillars that hold up the large roof when the earthquake occurred. They immediately ran outside and watched as the pillars swayed but stood strong. So far, the church has survived the earthquake and the many aftershocks. Other churches and schools in the area have been destroyed. Doug told Saundra that damage in their area is similar to damage from a tornado—one house undamaged and the house next to it destroyed. A man died in the house across the street. The team has ample food and water.

We were told that the group were on the church roof and huddled together and that the Church was the only building standing. Also that food was a concern. I don't see that here was that just a rumor??
We are praising God for the teams safety.
Would like to give an update tomorrow at church. We are a village missions church as well.
Thanks and God Bless,
Beth
