They immediately ran outside and watched as the pillars swayed but stood strong. So far, the church has survived the earthquake and the many aftershocks. Other churches and schools in the area have been destroyed. Doug told Saundra that damage in their area is similar to damage from a tornado—one house undamaged and the house next to it destroyed. Also that food was a concern. I don't see that here was that just a rumor?? We are praising God for the teams safety. Would like to give an update tomorrow at church.
