One of the activities I got involved in when I entered into
ministry was hunting. It is something I enjoy and the meat is nice, but
the real reason I started hunting was to minister to the guys. Although
I missed the antelope during the recent antelope season, I was right on
target with ministry. Three afternoons during the seven-day season I
spent with one man as we hunted together. Each afternoon I was able to
talk with him in ways that are not normally part of our relationship.
Although I am without the meat, the season was a success! Gary & Judi
