Marjorie started a SS class for ladies, and four attended on Sunday. Three of these ladies started attending our worship services within the last four months or so. Praise the Lord for faithful believers who are making the Gospel attractive and encouraging meaningful friendships with people not attending this church. Our annual wild game supper was also an incredible success. It is designed to connect with friends and neighbors in our community and introduce them to the truths of Christ. A man from our congregation, who is also quite a hunter, delivered a tremendous speech on mankind’s hunt for God. We had a number of friends attend from outside the church. Two new members are in the family of God this month, including my grandson, Eli! We also got snow, for which we prayed—we love it and we hate it! And we praise the Lord for the Gideon speaker and the work of the Gideons. Bill & Mary Korf

We praise the Lord for the unity He has given us as a board & congregation. We just recently had our annual board conference & annual congregational meetings. What a joy to sense the love and unity among us! That is not something we can ever take lightly & pray the Lord will continue to preserve that! We’re also thankful for the “Love and Respect” DVD series we are using in an adult Sunday school class—it’s excellent. We pray that it will have a profound effect on marriages. We also pray that we will be more effective in reaching young families in our community.  Jerry & Jan Kennedy

I’ve gotten involved with the Big Brother Program, and I met my “little brother” Nelson, age 13, and his grandmother, along with the supervisor in the Big Brother Program. Nelson and I will soon have our first activity together! We were also able to have Wednesday night meetings the last week of January, after having to cancel for bad weather so many times. The kids were glad to be back at AWANA!  Gary & Vicky Turner
