wise.jpgThe men’s discipleship and the new Thursday night Bible study are great additions to the spiritual growth of the church. We have three men coming that hadn’t attended a Bible study before…Praise the Lord!  Dale & Dorothy Wise

SCOTTSBURG, OR

kruse.JPG There is a dear lady here who suffers greatly from Parkinson’s disease. About a year ago, while explaining God’s plan of salvation, I asked her if she wanted to trust in Christ as her personal Savior; at that time she said no. A year has gone by and her health is failing; as I was visiting with her, the Holy Spirit said, “Ask her again,” so I asked her again if she wanted to trust Christ to be her Savior. She said yes! I was so shocked that I asked her a second time, just to make sure I’d heard correctly – she said yes a second time. I went through God’s plan of salvation with her and she trusted Jesus to be her personal Savior. We praise God for His second chances and His loving-kindness. Her husband is very interested in the things of God and has many questions, and we’re praying for him to come to know the Lord also. Donnie & Patty Kruse

BANGOR, CA

chikallas.jpgWell, we have not stopped since we arrived here! A lot has been going on and the people are anxious to see the church grow and reach out. We’re seeing an extreme rise in attendance, especially amongst kids in our church service. We really need some teachers to help with this little ‘church within the church,’ and we’re hoping for more people willing to help out. Last Sunday we had about 30 kids in Jr. Church! We hope to get things up and running, like Bible studies and outreach efforts, within the remainder of the year. We also have some community events coming up that we are really excited about. Bruce & Audrey Chikalla

MERIDIAN, ID

kingreys.jpgThe other day a gentleman new to our church came into my office to volunteer for anything we needed in the church to be done. Well, after I picked myself up off the floor and stopped praising the Lord, he began to tell me his story. He was originally from California. While he lived there, he and his family began attending a VM church pastored by John and Glenda Worrell. It was in that church that they came to Christ. They had moved to the Boise Valley about 15 years ago and attended several churches over the years. In their last church they could see some things happening in that church that did not ring true with The Word of God, so they decided to find a new church home. They remembered their great days in a VM church and decided to give us a try. On the way home that day they both said to each other that they felt as though they had come home. So thank you Lord, and John and Glenda, for your service and gift to Ten Mile. John & Heather Kingrey

ENDICOTT, NY

morrison-r.jpgWe arrived on this new VM field July 19th. During the last few months, we reestablished a Wednesday evening service, had our first communion service, and restarted Sunday school. We did a church survey of Airport Road, the street the church is on. Airport Road is about a mile long, and no one from this street attends this church. We hope, with the aid of CEF, to have a Good News Club started in the future here at the church. We also want to contact any Stonecroft clubs meeting in our area. We appreciate so much your prayers in these endeavors.  Ross & June Morrison
