In January we celebrated 14 years of God’s goodness to Caron Community Church. People have received Christ as Savior, marriages have been restored, and families have begun journeys with God that have changed their lives. We thank Him and pray that His will be accomplished and His name glorified!   John & Sara Duerksen

We just had a funeral for a dear friend of mine. He sat to my right for the last 5 years in my Sr. Bible study in town. I had the privilege of seeing him come to know the Lord and grow in his Christian walk. The Lord called him home at 87 years old. The empty spot in our class is hard for all of us; I have lost 3 of the 4 men in this Bible study in the last year. But praise God, all that have passed away are now with the Lord. This Bible study has been a blessing as we get to see several come to know the Lord as their personal Savior. Several of these people were very unsure and confused about salvation, but after 5 years of teaching, they have made sure and are no longer confused. They are very sure of their salvation through the shed blood of Christ who died for their sin, have personally asked Him to be their Savior, and are bound for heaven.  Tim & Bonnie Goold

One of our neighbors suffered a stroke and, living alone, ended up in a nursing home. She has short-term memory problems, but her speech was not affected. During my visit with her, I said, “I know you are a Buddhist, but may I pray for you?” She grabbed my hand and began to weep. “Oh yes! Please!” she said. “I don’t have anybody.” Charlie & Patty Scott

I’ve started a Sunday school class for new believers called “Knowing Christ.”  There are 3 attending that. Also, Kim had an opportunity to talk with a young woman after church; she is a new believer & wants to talk and has lots of questions. We pray that God will give Kim wisdom & the right words when they get together.  Mike & Kim Kunkle
