Blodgett, OR

mcilroy-pWe enjoyed seeing the Eddyville and Blodgett churches work together to put on the annual Sportsmen’s Breakfast in March. This is our biggest men’s outreach in the year. Even though there were no decisions made, it was a good opportunity to meet and get to know people from the community. We also met with a lady here about baptism and were delighted to see her respond at the end with understanding and tears. She had never been baptized after her salvation, although she was baptized as an infant. She was always very confused about the whole purpose.  Paul & Lauren McIlroy

Bowdoin, ME

anderson-e-apr-26We praise the Lord that a repair bill estimated at over $500 (for our church furnace) turned out to be only $110. The church collected a “special” offering of over $700 to help offset the high cost of heating oil. And, we had an extra long Awana (12:00 pm to 4:30 pm) one week, due to an early school dismissal.  Fun, but LONG!  Eric & Dawn Anderson

Lake Spokane, WA

silver-april-14thWe’ve had several new visitors recently, and two new members were received in February. We’re going through a major reduction in our budget for the next year; this has been difficult, but it has forced us to pray a lot more. Bob & Ruth Silver

BROWN COUNTY, IN

miller-darrel-cathy-apr-07We have had more children coming to the services; this has been a delight to our folks. Also, we’re planning the Good News Clubs for the spring at the local elementary school. It’s always a time to present the claims of Christ to the children. Darrel & Cathy Miller

ROYALTON, NY

cumberlandsIn the Northeast, (at least in Royalton), we hold our Sunday morning worship services in the Fellowship Hall from the first Sunday in January until Easter. This makes for a much more informal type service, builds closeness in the Body of Christ, and saves money on heating bills! We move back upstairs to the sanctuary on Palm Sunday or Easter Sunday, and people are already planning our time together to celebrate. Also, our 2nd annual soup supper was a wonderful time – the soups were GREAT and the fellowship was fun and wonderful. One lady who attended said she was really touched by the caring hearts of our church folk. Tim & Deborah Cumberland
