NISLAND, SD

clark-dThe Lord’s blessing is evident in our midst, as He has brought folks out to church that have not attended regularly. I sense the Lord’s moving and creating a sense of hunger and desire for the Word. I see the Lord touching the lives of the men attending the men’s studies. The Lord worked mightily through the Greg Laurie Harvest Crusade in Rapid City. One couple invited their neighbors, and the wife went forward to accept Christ! Over the three nights, 1500 went forward to make decisions for Christ, and I thoroughly enjoyed counseling for all three nights. The Lord is doing great things in our midst! Another example of this was a marriage restoration; I performed an outdoor ceremony to restore this husband and wife in the covenant of marriage. It’s the only wedding I’ve done that I cried! Our AWANA year and our Bible studies ended with encouraging signs. The Lord is moving to bring ongoing and increased opportunities to touch lives in the power of the Holy Spirit, through the Word. OCEAN PARK, WA

colesSince October 3rd, 2008, Ocean Park Community Church has been directing functions from Edith Olsen Hall, while the remediation and restoration processes took place after the fire. Thank you for taking a moment to rejoice with us.  Little things you have meant to us, along the way, are certainly “No Little Things” and have been huge encouragements. Thank you. On Sunday, July 12, 2009, we had our first service back at 267th & Vernon, with a rededication service and “new beginnings” in the main auditorium, followed by 3 baptisms, a wedding, a potluck, and convalescent ministry – all before 3 PM…Whew!  Ain’t GOD good? The Thursday night before, we had a special prayer meeting to consecrate ourselves & the site afresh. Saturday evening, we conducted a Praise & Appreciation Night, with nearly 75 in attendance. Sunday’s worship was great with nearly 70 present, and the willingness of a few special people helped us get things up and running with God’s aid.  Along the way, with the project at times being “off limits,” our son Jonathan was able to photo some of the activities, and has developed a multimedia film that you can view online. You may do so by going to this link: http://www.twitvid.com/487E1. GOD Bless you richly and again, may I say “thank you!”  Marty & Cindy Cole

Wishram, WA

hargrovesWe thank God for how the town really came together for the kids’ Ice Cream Social; it was the biggest fundraiser for camp so far. It was also great to see and talk with those that attended – first time we’ve seen a lot of them at the church! We pray that God will call them back again, to worship Him. We also went to The Dalles (the closest town to us) for a  car wash fundraiser. Pray that God will truly be at work in camp this August, and that He will soften hearts. Charlie and Rhonda Hargrove

Pahrump, NV

walker-kThrough our Christianity 101 class we’ve been encouraged to hear of growth in several new believers in our church. Also, a lady that’s been attending church for the past few months filled out an In-Touch card with a request that she’d like to speak to the pastor about how to pray. I was privileged to go to her house and lead her to the Lord! What a blessing. On her 91st birthday, she was born again!!  Praise the Lord for His works. Keith & Kim Walker
