Bruin, PA

Van-GordensThe women are working together through Nancy Leigh DeMoss’s “Lies Women Believe.” The enemy doesn’t like losing ground, so we expect resistance. Please pray for the 18 women who are taking part, that they will study well, that they will rely on the Holy Spirit to guide them into all Truth, and that they won’t shrink from transformation where it is called for. For some, entire areas of their lives have been based on a lie they’ve believed. Please also pray for Steph as she moderates/teaches, that she will accurately handle the Word of Truth.   Matt & Stephanie Van Gorden

Harlan, KS

KargsWe had a really special worship time a few weeks ago. We shared the Lord’s Table, sang some of our favorite hymns (by request), and had instruction from the Word, followed by the testimonies and baptisms of two of our young people (one of which was our daughter). Since we don’t have a baptistery, we borrowed a horse tank from the local Farm & Home Store. It was a memorable occasion, and even more so for the two young people who braved that cold water!!! We also had VM fellowship; what a great group of local missionaries to fellowship with – we are truly blessed!! Jim & Lynette Karg

LENWOOD, CA

Carr-DWe started our new Adult Bible School, and it has been a real blessing. I was expecting around 7 people to show up, especially as I’m requiring homework: reading chapters out of Grudum’s Systematic Theology. We’re up to 18 people and they are all doing the homework, asking questions, and taking part in the discussions in class. We began with Bibliology and will spend 12 weeks in this class; after completing week 4, everyone is still attending and all seem to be getting more excited about the class, so this has been a major blessing.  David & Serena Carr

OAKLEY, KS

MacWhinniesWe’ve had some success in sharing with others how God used my cancer and our family in ministering to people. In this we have been able to share the Gospel with many who know us or about what we have gone through. We’ve been able to get together with some of our neighbors and friends and share how blessed we are. We’ve also been trying to get out into the community and build upon relationships that we had before we left, as well as build some new ones. I was also able to baptize our daughter Hannah at our annual church picnic this year. PTL, what an honor and privilege!  Mike & Sara MacWhinnie
