Hinkley, CA

BosworthsWe praise God as we near completion of our kitchen remodeling project; we’ll probably complete it for well under the original estimates. Praise God for the volunteer help and His favor in finding good prices! We also praise Him for our first youth evening service. The youth leader gave a devotional and the youth group sang several songs. Twenty-five people attended – with the youth in the program, a total of 42 people were present.  Dick & Pam Bosworth

Lake California, CA

BredowWe’ve begun a short video leadership training program that the chairman of our board is leading, with 4 other couples. The response to the study has been mostly positive, and the initial results have been very encouraging.  One couple has already talked with me about how they can learn to have a quiet time as a couple. The group is spending time together after their meetings talking about possible new ministries they might take on or encourage in our church.  Jim & Lennie Bredow

NEWELL, SD

CarneysGod has really been moving in our congregation. Through the sermon series on Ecclesiastes, as well as the Bible study, “The Faith,” by Chuck Colson, we are responding to the need to be better connected to Christ. We’re learning that His purpose for us is really what we desire and that which will fulfill the desires of our hearts. It is exciting to watch people respond to God in meeting their desires through desiring more of Him.  Sean & Jani Carney

Nisland, SD

Clark-DI arrived at the Rehab Center for the regular weekly study a few weeks ago, and when we started, one of the guys spoke up and said he wanted to rededicate his life to the Lord! After some discussion, we “circled the wagons” and led Kevin in a prayer of rededication to the Lord who came to “seek and to save that which was lost.”  Doug & LeAnne Clark

HILLSIDE, OR

Goold-Tim-BonnieIt is so fun being in the Lord’s work. We love getting to share Christ with people here in Hillside; we are so blessed. We love it when we get to see others growing in the Lord. I must say that I am amazed at how the Lord brings people at the right time – different people on different days, but always just the right number and just the right people. I got a call one week from a lady asking about baptism and the Lord’s Table. We got a call another week from an unknown lady asking about our church. Bonnie talked to her for quite some time and she said she and her family would be here the next week. Well, they did come, and our church that Sunday was so full they had to sit in the front row. As I stepped up to visit with them, the Lord just miraculously opened up doors for sharing. They are totally unchurched and searching for God. Bonnie was able to start a Bible study with her, and the man is really searching also. I taught the Romans Road in my sermon, and that Sunday evening when they brought one of their sons to Youth Group, the father said he’d never heard that before, and wants to talk with me about it sometime.
