NASHWAAK BRIDGE, NB

jan-30-mcaloon.JPGOne Sunday evening our people and some from another church went to a church in the area where a missionary we support was speaking on the work in Chad and France. We had a potluck and a wonderful time of fellowship. It’s the first time in years that these three churches, which are in this general area, have come together. We praise the Lord. How good it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.  Patrick & Janice McAloon

BRINNON, WA

jan-24-reid.JPGWe started a new high school class last month. The Champions program has also expanded to include a junior high Bible study and a nursery/preschool. Children’s church has been restarted, and we have a new, full-time nursery during church. There were also three men’s Bible studies and the men’s breakfast, so we had a busy month. Bill & Eleanor Reid

NEW GLOUCESTER, ME

jan-18-michaud.JPGWe’ve been visiting an older couple who live at the end of a narrow dirt road and who knew of us through a relative in our church. The husband was very aware of his sinfulness and seemed to struggle with the good intention of “trying harder.” I left them a tract entitled “Steps to Peace with God” by Billy Graham, along with a Bible. Without any pressure, I encouraged them to read what I had left. That evening he and his wife came under conviction from reading the tract, and both received Christ as their Savior. Already there has been a remarkable change in them both! Praise the Lord!! Dan & Connie Michaud

SUNSITES, AZ

simrall.JPGThe church has added three new members! Sandra’s health has improved enough that she sang two songs for the Christmas Eve service. And the prison ministry has once again started, after having been ‘on hold’ for about 10 weeks. With the two worship services taking place there this past month, three inmates accepted Christ and were baptized.  Scott & Sandra Simrall

LAKEHEAD, CA

jan-02-harkabus.jpgWe had an evening song service on Christmas Eve. Our annual New Year’s Eve game night was also a good time of fellowship. We played our favorite board games, laughed and visited. At midnight we rang the church bell to ring in the New Year, and we prayed, thanking the Lord for His faithfulness, protection, provision, and guidance in 2006, and well as thanking Him in advance for these things in 2007. Jim & Brenda Harkabus
