HORSEFLY, BC

denlingers.jpgThere is an incredible godly leadership of men here who base everything on God’s inspired and infallible Word. The church is packed with folks who are hungry for the Word. There are many young families in the church – and many children as well. Sure, folks here have their issues like anyone else, but they love their Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!  Dean & Rochelle Denlinger

GRAEAGLE, CA

may-23-preston.JPGPraise the Lord for our Awana and MOPS programs, which have just finished another successful year. We pray that as we prepare for a new year beginning in September/October, more will be reached for the Lord through these programs. Our VBS is also coming up July 8-12. We pray for this also, that we will get the workers we need and that lives may be touched. Mike & Carolyn Preston

HAUSER, OR

may-15-adams-j.jpgIn April, eight young people who have learned the meaning of baptism in AWANA and had the endorsement of their parents were baptized in a special service at the AWANA Club meeting. On the weekend immediately following that, twelve adults and one young person were also baptized. This is a wonderful celebration for us as a church, as we see people take a visible step of commitment before the Lord. There was a wonderful atmosphere of celebration and joy as we praised God for His work in human hearts.  John & Candy Adams

MAZAMA, WA

may-08-picklesimer.JPGIt’s exciting to see the gap between the ages diminish as the young reach out to the old. In April we were pleased when one of our youth stood up in church and announced that the young adult group is ready and willing to cut, split, and deliver wood to anyone in the congregation free of charge. They’ve been busy during their free time in the acreage behind the church, cleaning up the downed and damaged trees from the hard winter. The seniors and single women in our church took this as a true blessing and provision from the Lord.  Randy & Lisa Picklesimer

PENHOLD, AB

may-2-graham.jpgOur ladies’ group in the church is trying to reach out to the community ladies, so they held a Scrapbooking Day in April, which was open to anyone who wanted to attend. We had several ladies from the community attend, so it was good to get to know them better. They were amazed that there was no charge, the supplies were free, and they were served a beautiful lunch. We all had such a good time together, we’re thinking of doing this on a regular basis! Murray & Deb Graham
