McCUNE, KS

north-dave-nancy.JPGWe are privileged to serve a congregation of folks who love the Lord and desire to make United Chapel a lighthouse in the middle of the Kansas prairie. We’ve been working on making contacts with families in nearby communities, and one Sunday we had a family with four children attend!  Hallelujah!  We ask the Lord to continue to provide avenues for us to bring other families to our doors.  We know that God has a plan! VENANGO, NE

hausmans.JPGWe showed Dr. Jack’s (Canady) video on prayer as part of the message one Sunday.  Then I challenged the people to pray for more Village Missionaries, to pray for Nebraska Village Missionaries to be put into the harvest, and to pray for one friend/neighbor to share the gospel with; 17 people responded, and quite a few of those asked for accountability in continuing with this. We also got one paper back from a 5-year-old boy who will be praying for more Village Missionaries! We also praise the Lord for 3 people who have joined our church.  Kevin & Leslie Hausman

PENHOLD, AB

graham-m.jpgWe had an interesting call from a neighbor who works at the local airport. She said that they had some students from India taking flying lessons. One of them was a Christian and was upset that he would not be able to attend church, because where he was staying (a town one mile from us) did not have a church, and he did not have a car. She was wondering if anyone lived in Springbrook who could give him a ride to church. We have a family attending from Springbrook, and on Sunday morning – one of the coldest we’ve had in a long time – this fellow from India attended church. It is exciting to know that wherever you are, you have family in the Body of Christ. He enjoyed the service, but the weather not so much, as he shared that at home the temperature was about 105 degrees! Murray & Debra Graham

WYTOPITLOCK, ME

waite-s.JPGIt was such an awesome opportunity to have a young man come to me and want to know all about what salvation is and what it means.  He came and talked with me and I encouraged him to give the church service 3 tries and then see what God does.  As he kept coming to the meetings and listening eagerly, I could see there was something on his mind.  Well, one Sunday afternoon, this man came and found me and wanted to talk.  As we talked, he said he had never asked Jesus to be his Savior before, but wanted to.  So he prayed and confessed his sin to God and invited Jesus to be his Savior. He has been growing steadily since that day, and for that we praise God.  Steve & Sharon Waite
