February 25—Todd & Angela Shoemaker, Center Hill, PA
Center Hill Community Church is located in western PA, along Interstate 80. We’re only 10 minutes away from famous Groundhog Weatherman, Punxsutawney Phil. Our area is surrounded by hills, farms, and woods; hunting is a very popular pastime in our area. There are many churches in our area that are struggling for various reasons. Our church has appreciated the ministry of Village Missions, as it allows for continuity and focus in ministry. Please pray that God will continue to allow our testimony to shine brightly in our community. We’re planning a trip down to the Gulf Coast in March—this will be the second year we’ve gone down. Pray that we will be strong physically—and ultimately spiritually—as we share the love of Christ with those impacted by Hurricane Katrina. Pray also for our children’s and youth ministry here as we train up our young people to love God and walk in His way.

February 18—Bill & Lorna Powell, Corbeil, ON (Canadian DR)
We live in a little French Canadian town on the Ontario-Quebec border about 3 hours north of Toronto. We are the Eastern Canadian District Representatives and travel all over Canada visiting the missionary families, from Saskatchewan to Nova Scotia. We recruit on the Bible College and Seminary campuses from Nova Scotia to Alberta. Pray for God’s leading to the right couples for VM and the right fields to be served.

February 11—Steven & Stacey Hall, Coarsegold, CA
We are located approximately 20 miles south of Yosemite National Park. Coarsegold sits on Highway 41—the southern gateway to Yosemite. Our community is growing in population and enjoys a thriving tourist industry in the summer. Pray that we would know the heights and depths of God’s love through Jesus Christ, and that our church would take that love through the message of the Gospel into our community, and that God would grant us a great harvest of souls.
