September 2 – Lloyd & Carrol Trapani, Meadview, AZ

trapanis.JPGMeadview is a remote community on the high desert of northwest Arizona at the west end of the Grand Canyon, now also boasting a skywalk. Most of the people living here are retired, but we do have many part-timers who are here for recreation on Lake Mead. We have been on this field over 22 years, and the most recent years have been characterized by growth in the community. Pray that as our field grows, the ministry and outreach of the church will increase also. Pray that the church family will have a testimony of love, unity, and compassion for the spiritual needs around us. Pray for the needy children we minister to. Pray that God will raise up more spiritual leaders within the church. Pray that we will have wisdom from the Lord and strength for the task.

August 26 – Jeff & Anne Pratt, Beaver, OR

pratt-j.jpgBeaver is in the heart of dairy country in Tillamook County, just 10 miles inland from the Oregon Coast. Fishing & hunting are also very popular in the area. It does rain in the winter, but the rest of the year the weather is beautiful. Pray for God’s people to be established in God’s Word through systematically reading the Bible, along with hearing it preached & obeying God’s truths.

August 19 – Gary & Kathlyn Horton, Weston, NS

hortons.JPGWeston is a small community in farming country in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. We are located between the towns of Berwick and Aylesford and surrounded by dairy farms and fields. Please pray for workers to help with our growing youth groups and that many souls might be reached for Christ through our church outreach. Above all else, pray that we would be found faithful in the harvest of the Lord and the proclamation of His Gospel.

August 12 – Gary & Judi Ogle, Star, CO

ogle.JPGStar Community Church is a rural church in southeast Colorado located about 30 miles south of Granada, CO. It is surrounded by wheat fields and pastures. Every household in the church is involved in, or retired from, agriculture. Please pray that new, young families will move into the community and into our church because we have an aging community and congregation. Pray that the people in the community that do not attend church anywhere will see the need and begin to do so.
