Munden is a small rural farming community in north central Kansas. The people here are financially very poor. The area is also losing significant population with the school going through consolidation three years ago, and we are hearing talk of another consolidation with another school district. Our area is in need of some sort of employment that would keep young people here after they grow up. The younger people need to mature spiritually. We have a very active Awana group with about 40 kids, but we have trouble financing it.
