November 29: Keith & Kim Walker, Pahrump, NV
One hour west of Las Vegas, Pahrump originally boomed as a retirement town. Pahrump Community Church has had Village Missions leadership since it began in 1968. Although there are still many retirees, this church has seen a significant influx of younger families in recent years. The church ministers to the community with a very active Food Pantry ministry, a Preschool and a Christian Academy. Pray for the successful construction of a new multi-purpose facility to accommodate this growing congregation. Pray for Keith & Kim as their youngest begins college this fall and they experience “empty nest syndrome” for the first time in almost thirty years.
