January 31: Ted & Jeanette Rivers, French Gulch, CA
This church was started in 1981 and met in the local school building until 2000, when we moved into a beautiful new building (after 14 years of hard work, faithful people, and God’s grace). Located about 12 miles west of Redding near Whiskey Town Lake, French Gulch is an old gold mining town with a population of about 350. We’re a bedroom community to Redding; many of the people commute for work, and many others are retired. Pray that we will have God’s wisdom & power to reach the lost and disciple the saved. Pray for the start of a youth group and Awana Club that are on the drawing board. We praise God for those who have trusted in Christ this past year and for some new families now attending. Praise Him for the growth in our teen Sunday School class.
