July 3: John & Gloria James, Midwest District Representatives

Our fields cover 10 states: east to 60 miles from Pennsylvania, west to 60 miles from Montana, south in Missouri to within ‘hollerin’ range’ of Arkansas, and north almost to the northernmost point of the Upper Peninsula in Michigan. Occupations include industrial, white-collar, ranching, farming, getaway, retirement, and resort/tourism.

Pray for unity in the congregations we serve; pray for every believer in these churches to listen to God’s Spirit and find our Lord’s one way for that ministry to move forward, and then get on board. Praise God for those places showing visible growth both in numbers and in maturity of believers! Pray for missionaries & lay leaders to not grow weary in well doing, who serve in places that have not seen such growth in some time. Pray for fields without full-time leadership to remain steadfast and to find the temporary leadership needed. Pray that many new missionaries will be directed by God’s Spirit to serve with us.

June 26: Jacob & Karen Adams, Blodgett Mills, NY

Blodgett Mills, a suburb of Cortland, is located in central New York. Most of the people that live here are retired. Recently, the church has had opportunity to begin a Good News Club in the nearby elementary school. We are encouraged to see the Lord’s hand in this. Please pray for the people of Blodgett Mills, that their hearts would be softened to receive the Word of God.

As You Pray This Week

Dear Praying Friends,

Many of our churches are conducting VBS this month and planning for church camps over the summer. Pray that many would come to Christ and be strengthened in Him through these ministries.

Those who are planning to attend our fall candidate school should be starting their application process this month. Pray that God will move many choice couples to begin or continue with the application process. Mighty transformations take place in communities, churches, and individual lives when we have the missionaries to send to churches asking for help. Please pray!

June is the last month in our fiscal year. We praise the Lord for His provision over the past year. Please pray for a good finish to the fiscal year. We will need additional funding if God answers our prayer (we trust that He will!) for additional missionaries!

Thank you for praying!

June 19: Don & Dorene Cambra, Worley, ID

The Worley area is on the Coeur d’Alene Indian Reservation, although the church is mostly non-native. It is an area of farming, logging, mills, and tribal facilities. It is also on the Coeur d’Alene Lake and offers great hunting and fishing.

Please pray for the continued growth of our men’s discipleship ministries, and wisdom for our youth ministry. We have had a recent opening into the hearts of the tribal people, so please pray that more of them open their doors to the Gospel.

June 12: Rich & Kari Wheeler, Sunnyside, OR

In the suburbs of Portland, Sunnyside is transitioning from a rural to a suburban church. Uniquely positioned on a well trafficked state highway, we can minister to those in the city and those who commute from a more rural environment.

Our “Missions Focus Weekend” encouraged our church that everyone is someone God can use, as we heard stories of how He is using ordinary people to do extraordinary things. We pray God continues to encourage and challenge Sunnyside Church to realize they are those ordinary people, and God is always equipping us to do extraordinary things.

Also, pray that God continues to help us reach out to the Russian Orthodox, Slavic, and Anglo communities immediately surrounding our building. We know God desires to use us and our facility to make an impact in the lives both of those who already attend and those we come in contact with on a daily basis.
