April 29 - Cliff & Casey Horr, San de Fuca, WA
San de Fuca Community Chapel is on Whidbey Island, about 40 miles north of Seattle, WA. Whidbey is the largest island in the continental U.S. Access to the island is by bridge at the north end and by ferry at the south end and west side. We are in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains, so our climate is drier than most of Washington. At the north end of the island is Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. Most people commute across the ferry to work at Boeing in Everett. The Chapel is small but active and full of wonderful, loving, serving believers of all age groups. The year ahead appears to be our most challenging yet. The recent purchase of property adjacent to the Chapel will allow for some growth, but also calls for a considerable increase in giving. Pray for a continued growth of our vision and for the lost souls all around us, that we would be going to them with the Good News of Christ.
