Cedar River Community Chapel is located on the west shore of Lake Michigan. The area is known for its fishing and hunting; many people have cabins in the area for summer vacations. Many of the people in the Cedar River area are retired, including those in our church, but we also have several young families. Please pray for us as we seek to disciple and encourage those in our church. Pray for our church as they take new steps in reaching our community for Christ, including VBS, children’s programs, community events, and a community newsletter.

Lookingglass is located just 8 miles west of Roseburg in the SW corner of the state. This community is in a beautiful valley nestled against the Coast Range Mountains. Pray for the children’s ministries as we continue into the second year of Bible Discovery Zone. Pray that we might soon complete the much needed handicapped ramps into the building. Pray for the spiritual growth of the church family, and then as we reach out to the community with the Gospel.

We’re located in central Alberta. This is a very diverse area: a bedroom community for Edmonton, a farming/ranching area, and oil workers. Pray that the quilting outreach the women of the church have started will produce fruit throughout the community. Pray for me (Chris) as I work with the local volunteer fire department. Praise the Lord that serious relationships are developing there. And finally, pray for us as we raise our three beautiful little girls.

Bruin is located in western Pennsylvania, about 90 minutes directly north of Pittsburgh and 10 miles south of Interstate 80. This small town of about 550 is close to three or four other small towns, but there aren’t many churches. Please pray for our many outreaches into the community — we’re “the big white church in Bruin,” but there are many who just pass us by. Please also pray for our youth pastor and his leadership team. The kids are a tough crowd, and it’s hard to know just how to minister effectively to them. Finally, this is a busy field — please pray that in all the hustle & bustle, we choose “the better thing,” and make time to sit daily at His feet.
