Nestled in a beautiful but remote valley in south-central British Columbia between Kootenay and Duncan Lakes, Meadow Creek is a year-round playground, with high country skiing in the winter and four-wheeling and boating in the summer. Over the past year we have seen a major downturn in our local lumber industry, which is our main means of employment. Local businesses and the entire valley are being affected by the change in the economy—more houses are being put up for sale, and families are moving out of the area in search of employment. Please pray for spiritual growth in our church leadership, and pray that our people would have a vision of God’s work here, and see their responsibility in working towards the fulfillment of that vision.
